The new Plus Workspace studio, designed by PTID Melbourne, was the exclusive launching location of the collaboration between Autex Acoustics and Willie Weston.
A fun, inspiring and insightful night. The launch featured art on Autex panels by the following First Nation artists represented by Willie Weston- Jean Baptiste Apuatimi, Osmond Kantilla, Kathleen Korda, Jean Ngwarraye Long, Susan Marawarr, Rosie Ngwarraye Ross, Lee-Anne Williams and Annunciata Nunuk Wilson.
Jan Henderson, INDE.Awards Programme Director and Editor, was the wonderful MC. Socrati Seretis of Peddle Thorp Melbourne and Simone Laity of Lendlease shared insight on their experiences of collaboratively working with First Nation groups in developing, designing and delivering built environment projects. Willie Weston co-founder, Jessica Booth, walked us through how Willie Weston was established and their ongoing commitment to supporting First Nation artists.
We thank everyone that took the time to come along to celebrate such a special collaboration.
